Sara and Aaron’s wedding is giving us major mood board energy. From the outdoor setting to the curated details, every frame of their day was a modern wedding design on full display.

Lean Into the Color

The standout element is undoubtedly that teal accent color. Used prominently in the stationery, the bold teal invitation suite, embellished with delicate floral motifs, sets such a vibrant tone. As the Wed Society tip, leaning into a strong signature color like this allows smaller details, like those dainty rings and floral accessories, to really pop. Ashley of Luva Events explains that “the aesthetic beautifully reflected Sara’s creative and colorful spirit as an art teacher, but it was never the driving force.” Instead, she worked closely with the couple to ensure the day was “true to who they are: joyful, love-filled, fun, and centered on connection and laughter.”

Captured Moments

The visual narrative transitions between perspectives, like that black-and-white drone shot of the ceremony layout among the trees. Close-ups of Sara’s white heels and jewelry only add to the curated feel. The couple looks stunning throughout their candid stroll to intimate portraits showcasing Sara’s elegant off-the-shoulder gown and Aaron’s grey suit with a teal tie to match the theme. For photographer Amanda of Burman Photography, capturing these moments was deeply personal: “Aaron and Sara’s wedding felt like the natural unfolding of a story I have had the privilege of witnessing for years. Photographing their day in my hometown carried a weight that was both familiar and deeply meaningful, almost like documenting a chapter among friends rather than simply arriving as a vendor. There was something cathartic about seeing it all come together.”

Whimsical Florals

The florals served as the perfect bridge between the bold accents and the natural environment, featuring a mix of sunshine yellows and soft peaches that felt totally organic. Ashley’s intentionality was the secret sauce, ensuring “every element was thoughtfully designed to feel seamless and effortless, creating an experience they and their guests could genuinely enjoy from start to finish.” It’s proof that when you lean into your own personal style and work with a team that understands your story, the results are unforgettable.
