The L + S Edit: Industrial Romance at Tinker House

At Tinker House Events, you get a mix of industrial brick with high-contrast romance. For Laura and Savannah, that magic lived in the texture of her dress, the balance of the brick venue, and a heavy dose of grainy film photography. Their day wasn’t about checking boxes on a wedding playbook; it was a vibe that felt more like a downtown gallery opening than a classic ceremony.

The story centered on intentional contrasts. The sharpness of the suit was the perfect match for the pleated, tiered gown—a dress that practically lived for the dramatic window light. It was the custom Wedding Times newspaper reveal and hazy, soft-focus florals that blurred the lines of industrial meets soft-focus.

After a bar-side kiss under the nice weather neon sign, the crowd moved into a reception fueled by First Class Catering. They kept the menu elevated and actually interesting, providing what the crowd needed to be ready to move. Between the break on the deck with their two dogs and the trolley ride that signaled the shift into the reception, the energy never dipped. Bluewater Kings Band absolutely ripped through the industrial space, keeping the floor packed and the energy high until the very last note.

Downtown Indy, two brides, and zero filler. It was exactly what it needed to be.
