A perfect day, built by community and love. Madelynn and Peter’s Indianapolis wedding was a reflection of their story, made special by the people around them.
“It is truly a group project,” Madelynn shares. “So many people go into making this day so special, which is great because you form relationships and strengthen others along the way.”
From the beginning, the planning was about connection, and that feeling carried into every detail of the day.
The events took place in a space Madelynn grew up visiting. Making it the ideal setting for their ceremony and reception.
One moment stands out above all others for Madelynn. “Walking down the aisle with my mom and dad, looking at Peter against the big windows where I grew up going as a child… it was such a surreal, emotional moment,” she recalls. “It met every expectation I had of ‘walking down the aisle.’ I wish I could do it again.”
Before the ceremony, the couple took a moment for themselves at the InterContinental Indianapolis. They paused for quiet portraits on the rooftop, with the monument serving as the skyline.
To keep the celebration going, Bluewater Kings Band provided the evening’s entertainment, keeping the energy high and the dance floor full.
The reception decor was stunning. Tables were dressed with pristine linens with blue accents, topped with beautiful white and blue hydrangea arrangements. This theme tied everything together perfectly, from the invitations to the details on the wedding cake.
Madelynn and Peter’s wedding was more than a ceremony; it was a testament of how community makes an already beautiful day even more beautiful than it already was.
