Abbie and Brett’s wedding was a total burst of color, style, and personality—the kind of day where every detail felt like a perfect match for their energy. Designed by Mon Amie Events, the celebration hit that sweet spot between formal elegance and cheer. The sorbet-colored atmosphere was brought to life through a curated mix of textures from LGi Linens and elevated with rentals from Violet Vintage Rentals, along with custom-built pieces by Ace Party Rentals that anchored the couple’s vibrant vision.

When it came to bringing that vision to life, one partner stood out as the heartbeat of the entire process. “Monica Richard, Wedding Planner, Mon Amie Events — Monica made our dreams come true and then some,” the couple shared. “She completely understood us and our vision from our first conversation. She then introduced us to an incredible team of vendors who excelled in each of their specialties.”

Since their very first date took place at Sun King Brewing, they greeted guests with personalized cans of Sun King’s limited-edition Cake Bake Shop Raspberry Sparkling Ale—a nod to where it all began. And because these two are big ice cream lovers, they focused on a sweet experience, featuring an ice cream cart and a custom dessert station brought to life with help from Ace Party Rentals, and a raspberry cream cake from Top Tier Cakes that tied in perfectly.

They tucked meaningful details throughout the evening—from cocktail napkins printed with their first-ever Bumble exchange to custom sorbet-colored portraits of their beloved dogs that guarded the dance floor.

While the party was a blast, some of the most impactful moments happened in the quiet moments.

“After all of the buildup and sharing our love in front of all of our friends and family during the ceremony, one of our favorite memories was our private cocktail hour,” the couple shared. “We had time to just be together, reflect on the excitement of the day so far, and cheers to our new marriage.” – Abbie and Brett

Looking back on the process, Abbie and Brett realized that the secret to a great wedding is simply staying in sync. They made a point to make every decision together, focusing on what truly mattered to them rather than just following a checklist. The result? An intimate, intentional evening that felt like home.
