The energy, the creativity, the connections — our first Wed Society Indianapolis Connect was everything we hoped it would be and more. This brand-new gathering brought together Indy’s wedding community to connect, share ideas, and celebrate the incredible talent our city has to offer.

We couldn’t have asked for a better setting than Iron & Ember Events, where the clean, modern space created the perfect scene for the day. A huge thank you to Mark Skipper, owner of Iron & Ember, for the warm welcome and for helping make this event possible.

The vision came to life thanks to Ashley Brost of Luva Events, whose thoughtful planning and creative eye made every detail feel intentional. From ethereal florals by Duet Floral, to custom lounge moments and statement chairs from Violet Vintage Rentals, to garden-inspired touches that brought the outside in — the space was truly transformed.

Guests enjoyed bites from Toast the Host Catering, sweet treats from Top Tier Cakes, and music by DG Visionaries that kept the atmosphere fun and relaxed. Every seat included a thank you note by Calligraphy Jewels, adding a personal detail guests loved.

We also had the opportunity to partner with Tailored Society as our fashion sponsor. Known for their exceptional custom suits that combine timeless craftsmanship with modern style, they brought an elevated menswear presence to the event — and we’re already looking forward to collaborating with them on a custom men’s look for our next gathering.

One of the biggest highlights of the afternoon was our panel conversation with Monica Richard of Mon Amie Events, Amanda Burman of Burman Photography, and Jake Smith of Flower Boys. Their fresh perspectives and honest insights sparked real conversations about collaboration, creativity, and how we can keep supporting each other in an ever-changing industry.

Of course, Kirsten Wray Photography captured the day beautifully, while Fret & Frame Films documented every moment on video. The Indy Photo Fun booth brought playful, shareable fun, and Socials of Shay made sure all the behind-the-scenes moments were captured for everyone to see.

A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors, vendor team, and every wedding pro who joined us. This event was just the beginning, and we can’t wait to keep building this community together.

Here’s to elevating Indy weddings — and to even more connection, collaboration, and creativity ahead!
