Week after week, our team receives and showcases beautiful weddings from all across the state of Indiana, all courtesy of the immensely talented wedding vendors and lovely couples who submit to us. Each month, our editorial team selects one spectacular wedding to highlight, one that stands above the rest for its uniqueness and beauty.
For June, we are thrilled to feature Jillian & David’s garden wedding. Keep scrolling to experience their whimsical celebration as we break down all of the details.
The Wedding Day
For Jillian and David, the focus of wedding planning wasn’t perfection—it was presence. “During wedding planning, I learned how important it is to prioritize the things that are most important to you and your spouse,” Jillian shared. “For us, our biggest priority was to enjoy the time with one another and to cherish the day as a couple.”
That intentionality was woven through every part of the day. The couple exchanged private letters before the ceremony—a quiet, emotional moment that grounded them before the celebration ahead. After saying “I do,” they slipped away to the flower fields, wrapped in post-ceremony joy, surrounded by lavender, zinnias, and the golden glow of sunset.
The sweetheart table, designed by Duet Floral, was a floral moment to remember. An abundant garden-style installation of blush and peach blooms, creamy yellows, and textured florals spilled naturally at their feet, while tall taper candles and soft bud vases adorned the tabletop. It felt intimate, romantic, and entirely their own.
Later, Jillian and David shared a private meal—just the two of them—to reflect on the emotion of the day. “We were able to talk about our emotions and how perfect the day was,” said Jillian. “Then we danced the night away by each other’s side. We’re so happy we can look back and remember so many shared moments together.”
Their Favorite Moment
While the entire day was filled with beauty and love, one moment stood out above the rest.
“My favorite memory from our wedding day was the moment right after the ceremony, when David and I walked out together and it truly hit us—we were married!” Jillian shared. “It was such a surreal and joy-filled feeling. After all the planning, anticipation, and emotions of the day, we finally had a quiet moment, just the two of us, to take it all in.”
Their photographer made them feel completely at ease in front of the camera, capturing every meaningful, joyful moment in a way that felt effortless and true. “We shared that faith, family, and fun were most important to us, and those values were reflected so beautifully in our photos. Since pictures are what we’ll always have to remember that day, we’re so grateful every detail was captured so perfectly.”
Start to finish, it was just one of those days that felt completely, perfectly them.
