The Wedding Day
Hanna and Reilly’s wedding wasn’t just a day—it was an experience, woven with intentionality, style, and a love story rooted in Irish charm. Hosted at the grand Scottish Rite Cathedral, the venue itself was chosen for its striking resemblance to the churches and architecture they fell in love with on a life-changing trip to Ireland. “That trip made it clear we’d be together forever,” Hanna reflects.
From that inspiration came a celebration rich in meaning. The ceremony included a traditional handfasting ritual—a symbolic binding of hands and hearts. Guests received personalized Irish coffee mugs engraved onsite by Calligraphy Jewels, each filled with a tea bag and a printed recipe for Irish coffee, along with a note about its personal significance to the couple.
With Monica Richard of Mon Amie Events leading the vision, every element of the day came together with refined intention and personal warmth. Guests staying at the hotel were welcomed with thoughtfully styled boxes filled with local goodies, hangover kits, and mini survival essentials like sewing kits and stain wipes—thoughtful touches that showed care in every detail.
Inside the reception, Violet Vintage’s elegant seating helped elevate the room’s ambiance, complementing the grand architecture and lush floral installations. Overhead, soft glowing lights created a dreamy atmosphere above tables draped in blush linens and candlelight. A showstopping cake by Top Tier featured delicate pink flowers and gold accents—equal parts elegant and enchanting.
As the evening drew to a close, Hanna and Reilly departed in style thanks to Antique Limousine. They slipped into the quiet city night—just the two of them, illuminated by streetlights and the glow of a day that felt straight out of a storybook.
Their Favorite Moment
With all the beauty and meticulous detail, it was the heartfelt moments that stood out most. “The speeches,” Hanna says without hesitation. “Especially my dad’s. There’s something incredibly moving about hearing your loved ones reflect on your story. It’s a rare moment when your friends and family share their core memories—and their love for you—in front of everyone you hold dear.”
It was in those spoken words, against the candlelit room and shared laughter, that Hanna and Reilly felt the true weight and wonder of their wedding day. A celebration not just of a marriage, but of all the stories that led them to that altar—and all the ones still waiting to be written.
