The Vision & The Setup

Transforming a space like this is a huge undertaking. Elizabeth with Satin & Stems led the creative direction, from the towering hydrangea pillars at the ceremony to an interactive escort card wall. As Elizabeth put it:

“The escort card wall quickly became a conversation piece among guests. The design echoed the aesthetic of the couple’s invitations, creating a cohesive visual experience from the moment guests arrived. Beyond its functional purpose, the escort display also served as a striking artistic installation that complemented the scale and elegance of the room.”

To make those ideas a reality, the team at Ace Party Rental provided the pieces that actually shaped the room. It was a big collaborative effort—Ace handled the custom DJ stage and booth to bring in the nightclub energy Elizabeth envisioned for the dance floor:

“The DJ booth was inspired by the atmosphere of high-end nightclubs, where the DJ is elevated and surrounded by dramatic lighting and architectural details,” Elizabeth explained. “Because the couple envisioned an energetic and vibrant dance floor, I designed a raised stage with a custom-built booth and an LED-lit floral installation that framed the DJ and made him a focal point of the reception.”

Ace also helped to elevate the dinner space with the bars, architectural uplighting, and gold flatware. Everything from the ceremony florals to the late-night espresso martini cart felt like one continuous story.

The Logistics

August and McKensie were the first to say that having a team they could trust was the real luxury:

“How worth it hiring a wedding planner is! Having our planner made our lives so much easier, and really allowed us to enjoy the time leading up to our wedding and the day itself because we didn’t have any of the logistics to stress over.”

From their entrance on the marble stairs to the final toast, the Emford wedding was a perfect example of what happens when you have a solid vision and a team that knows how to put it together.
