Some wedding days don’t go exactly as planned — and somehow end up even more beautiful because of it. Mavi and Mitchell’s celebration at Trader’s Point Creamery unfolded in steady rain, soft mist, and the kind of atmosphere you simply can’t design. It felt organic, emotional, and completely alive.
Rain poured all day, even pausing the procession just minutes before Mavi walked down the aisle. Guests waited. The couple waited. Then the skies softened, the garden glowed, and they were married in a misty ceremony that felt cinematic in the best possible way. By cocktail hour, the rain had cleared just enough for everyone to wander the property and breathe it all in.
Trader’s Point Creamery wasn’t just their venue — it was the heart of the entire experience. The same team handled catering, bartending, and sweets, creating a seamless flow that let the couple stay fully present. The food was farm-fresh, comforting, and unforgettable, but what stood out most was the people.
“Their entire team is SO amazing and helpful — they felt like family by the end of our night and planning process. From their gorgeous property to their delicious food, we are so happy we chose TCP as our venue.”
And then there were the cows. A signature part of the Creamery and, unexpectedly, one of the night’s biggest highlights. Guests slipped away from the dance floor to visit them, laugh, and soak in the novelty of celebrating on a working farm. When people weren’t dancing, they were outside petting cows and taking it all in — a detail no ballroom could ever recreate.
Personal touches layered warmth into every corner of the day. Mavi and her mom handcrafted many of the reception details, including custom head table linens and napkins for every guest. Those DIY elements didn’t just decorate the space — they made it feel intimate and unmistakably theirs.
Looking back, what stands out isn’t the rain or the timeline shifts. It’s how everything came together anyway: the misty garden, the laughter, the animals wandering nearby, the feeling that the venue itself was part of the celebration. Trader’s Point Creamery didn’t just host their wedding — it shaped it.
