Lesley & Curtis: The Wedding Day

There’s a reason this one won Indianapolis Wedding of the Year — it wasn’t just beautiful, it was deeply personal. Every moment of Lesley and Curtis’s day, thoughtfully planned by Emily Ventura Designs, felt like a reflection of who they are — intentional, rooted in meaning, and full of heart.

We loved how their ceremony celebrated both Southern style and Mexican heritage, blending timeless elegance with rich cultural traditions. The wedding lasso and Las Arras brought such a sense of connection and symbolism, while the music, family, and warmth of the day made everything feel intimate and real.

And those three bridal looks? Absolutely unforgettable. A classic strapless ballgown for the ceremony, a floral gown for the reception, and a fringed mini for the after-party — each one told its own story and captured a different side of the celebration.

Transportation by Antique Limousine of Indianapolis added a touch of timeless charm to the day, while their vintage Corvette send-off gave the night that perfect, cinematic finish.

But what really made this wedding special wasn’t just the details — it was the feeling. From the soft candlelight and elegant white florals to Lesley’s grandfather playing the piano during the reception, it was the kind of celebration that reminds you why weddings matter.
