Christina + Richard Just Married

Christina and Richard’s wedding day began inside one of those churches that immediately quiets a room.

By the time they walked back through the doors after the ceremony, the mood had changed completely.

Guests lined the steps with bubbles while Christina threw her hand in the air, and Richard laughed beside her. It felt less like the end of a ceremony and more like the start of a celebration.

The rest of the day followed suit.

Portraits beneath an enormous tree downtown. A champagne tower that quickly gathered a crowd. Black linens, gold chairs, candlelight, and a reception room that did not need much help making an impression.

One part of the evening missing from the gallery but not from the celebration was Christina and Richard’s photo booth team, Rejoice Booth. While the photographer was focused on the dance floor and speeches, they were collecting a different version of the night: friends squeezing into frames, families grabbing one more strip before heading home, and the kind of photos people end up finding in drawers years later.
