Black, White, and All the Roses | Dana + Dan
Dana + Dan
It’s easy to think a black and white wedding might feel a little cold, but Dana and Dan’s day was the exact opposite. They managed to take a really traditional black tie wedding look and make it feel personal and relaxed.
The Design
Emily Ventura didn’t overthink the space. Instead of cluttering the room, she focused on a few strong choices, like pairing those sharp black chairs with crisp white linens. It didn’t feel like a standard wedding setup; it felt more like an intimate, high-end dinner party where everything just worked.
Wedding Florals by Patty filled the day with white roses, which gave the whole aesthetic a softer, more romantic feel. The way the florals were grouped together on the tables felt very intentional, less like a standard centerpiece and more like a garden brought indoors.
Violet Vintage Rentals helped bring in details that made the space feel warm, inviting, and completely personal to Dana and Dan.
The Feel
You can really tell Dana and Dan were actually present for their day. From the candid moments at the table to the way they hung out with their wedding party, nothing felt staged or forced. It was a perfectly styled modern monochrome wedding day, but it clearly left them plenty of room to just enjoy being married.
