Blending Traditions: Anju & Harsha’s Wedding Celebration

Anju and Harsha celebrated their love with a spring wedding in downtown Indianapolis, filled with culture, family, and unforgettable details. Beneath a soaring glass dome, they exchanged vows surrounded by loved ones before moving into a lively reception that carried the celebration late into the night.

The day was accented by breathtaking florals from Duet Floral in shades of fuchsia, blush, ivory, and lilac. Rows of candles and crystal details made the reception glow, while a wardrobe change into vibrant Southeast Asian attire added even more color and meaning to the evening. Antique Limousine of Indianapolis provided the transportation, and every moment was beautifully captured by Stacy Able Photography.

For Harsha, one of the most special memories was dancing with his wife’s grandmother at the reception. Looking back, the couple shared that planning taught them the importance of trusting their instincts—staying true to their vision made the day everything they hoped for and more. And while they chose not to have a traditional Catholic or Hindu ceremony, they included meaningful touches from both, such as garland and ring exchanges, scripture readings, and music during the reception.
