A Colorful Spring Wedding at Tinker House Events

There’s a lot happening in Rachel and David’s florals, in the best way. Orchids next to tulips. Peach and coral with pale blue. Glossy anthurium leaves mixed into softer, looser flowers. Flower Boys Indy didn’t choose one direction and repeat it. The combinations are what make it interesting.

Rachel’s bouquet is probably the clearest example. Pink orchids trail from the arrangement while tulips, ranunculus, anthurium, and blue blooms fill in around them. Against her simple white dress, it gets to be a little weird and a lot colorful.

That same mix works especially well at Tinker House Events. The building already has so much texture between the brick, dark wood, exposed ceilings, and oversized windows that the flowers didn’t need to make the room feel finished. They could just add something completely different to it.

For the ceremony, Flower Boys Indy created a wide floral installation suspended in front of the windows. It’s abundant without looking overly arranged, with greenery hanging down and individual stems reaching beyond the main mass of flowers. Rachel and David stood beneath it with the brick wall still visible behind them, so neither the flowers nor the venue disappeared into the other.

Elsewhere, the arrangements were allowed to change shape. Flowers spilled over the bar. Reception centerpieces sat low across the tables among taper candles and glassware. Some felt compact and leafy; others stretched outward with tulips and unexpected stems.

Even the wedding party added to the palette. Rather than putting everyone in one color, dresses moved through pink, coral, green and other warm shades, each paired with its own version of the florals.

It all feels a little collected rather than coordinated down to the last detail. And in a space like Tinker House, that was exactly the right move.
