Some weddings just make sense in a hotel. The chandeliers, black-and-white floors, arched windows, and tucked-away corners at Hotel Carmichael gave this one exactly the right amount of drama…and plenty of photo opportunities.
And there were plenty of them. Kirsten Wray Photography moved from the hotel’s moodier interiors to portraits outside the Palladium, including that veil shot, a pink Indiana sky, and the kind of laughing-with-your-whole-face photos that keep all the polish from feeling too serious.
That same balance carried into the reception. Hotel Carmichael’s chandeliers and old-school details set the scene, while Bluewater Kings Band took over the entertainment and gave guests a reason to stay out of their seats.
It’s black tie without being buttoned up.
