Before Annie stepped into her dress or guests arrived, Blake picked her up for breakfast.
Just the two of them sitting together at Holliday Farms before the wedding began.
When we asked Annie about her favorite memory from the day, she didn’t mention the ceremony or the reception. She talked about breakfast.
“Blake picked me up the morning of our wedding, and we had a private breakfast at our venue. Nothing fancy, but we spent the early morning together, reflecting on the past months of planning and our relationship as a whole. It was something small, but I will remember that morning forever.”
Their ceremony took place outside at Holliday Farms with family and friends gathered around them. There wasn’t anything that needed to compete with the setting. White flowers, navy dresses, and the changing fall leaves were enough.
Later, as the sun started dropping behind the trees, Annie and Blake slipped away for portraits. The light got softer, everything slowed down a little, and they finally got a few minutes together after spending the day with everyone they love.
Annie wore a gown from Marie Gabriel Couture Bridal that moved so naturally in photos. Whether she was walking across the lawn with Blake or twirling through her dress as the sun went down, it suited the day.
Inside, the reception featured blue hydrangeas, white flowers, navy-and-white linens, brass accents, and candlelight filling the room.
Congratulations, Annie and Blake. We hope every anniversary includes another breakfast together.
