There is something so refreshing about a wedding that isn’t afraid of color. Olivia and Kendel’s day was filled with these beautiful, bright details that made their day stand out. From the moment they stood at the stone gazebo for their ceremony to the reception later that evening, the whole day just had a lovely, intentional flow to it.

The design was a huge part of that energy. Those coral charm peonies really stole the show, especially paired with the navy bridesmaid dresses from Bella Bridesmaids. It was such a smart contrast—the deep navy gave the colorful pinks and oranges a chance to really stand out without the palette feeling overwhelmed.

Beyond the flowers, the couple focused on creating a great experience for everyone there. One of the most special touches was having Randal Johnson of The Pure Paintress on-site for live guest illustrations. It’s such a sweet, creative way to give guests a keepsake that feels like a piece of art rather than just a party favor. As Randal says, “I’m so happy when I meet families that really enjoy the arts and incorporate it into their wedding.” They even had a custom illustration of their pups on the signature cocktail menu, which is always a win in our book.

Reflecting on the whole experience, Olivia had some great perspective for anyone currently in the thick of planning:

“One thing I learned from planning my wedding is to enjoy the process! It was easy to get stressed with all of the decisions, but now that I’m looking back on it, it was also so much fun! Luckily, I worked with an incredible team of vendors who I trusted and who executed my vision flawlessly.”

It’s a good reminder that when you find a team you really trust—like the stylists at Bella Bridesmaids and the artistry of  The Pure Paintress—you can actually let go and just enjoy being the bride.
