Week after week, our team receives and showcases beautiful weddings from all across the state of Indiana, all courtesy of the immensely talented wedding vendors and lovely couples who submit to us. Each month, our editorial team selects one spectacular wedding to highlight, one that stands above the rest for its uniqueness and beauty.

For September, we are thrilled to feature Anju & Harsha’s beautiful multicultural wedding as our final “Vows that Wow” of the year. Keep scrolling to experience their stunning celebration that perfectly blended traditional Indian ceremonies with sophisticated style.

The Wedding Day

Anju and Harsha’s wedding brought together love, family, and culture on a beautiful spring day in downtown Indianapolis. Beneath soaring glass windows, sunlight streamed in and created the most magical scene as they exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Duet Floral designed breathtaking arrangements in shades of fuchsia, blush, ivory, and soft lilac. From the lush bouquets to the delicate bud vases on the tables, each bloom added romance and a fresh, springtime vibrance. Rows of glowing pink tapers and crystal glassware gave the reception space warmth and intimacy, perfectly captured in the photos.

As the afternoon turned into evening, the celebration shifted into full party mode. Guests laughed, mingled, and danced in the candlelight, while Anju and Harsha surprised everyone with a stunning wardrobe change into vibrant Southeast Asian attire. The colors popped beautifully against the soft florals and glowing tables, bringing their cultures together in the most meaningful way.

Transportation by Antique Limousine added a thoughtful touch to the day, while Stacy Able Photography documented it all with an eye for the moments that mattered most—the smiles, the laughter, and the kind of love that shines through every image.

Behind the Celebration

For Harsha, one of the most unforgettable memories came later in the evening: sharing a dance with his wife’s grandmother, a moment that perfectly captured the love and connection surrounding them.

Looking back, Anju and Harsha say that planning their wedding taught them the importance of trusting their instincts. “You’ll fall short if you try to please everyone,” they shared. But when you follow your own vision, the day becomes everything you hoped for and more.

They were also intentional about weaving their heritages into the celebration. While they chose not to hold a traditional Catholic or Hindu ceremony, they incorporated meaningful touches from both—garland and ring exchanges, carefully chosen wedding outfits, scripture readings, and music at the reception—all of which made the day feel uniquely theirs.
