Held in Sarah’s hometown of West Lafayette, the day began with a meaningful Catholic mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. It was the perfect way to kick off a celebration that felt deeply personal and true to them.

From the very beginning, Sarah and Ryan knew what mattered most. With Luva Events by their side, they were able to focus on the big picture—bringing their people together and creating a day that felt like them. They trusted their vendors, didn’t sweat the small stuff, and it made all the difference.

After the ceremony, guests headed to the Purdue Memorial Union for cocktail hour, complete with signature drinks, live music, and appetizers. The reception space was a beautiful mix of classic and simple, elegant florals, soft lighting, and a dance floor ready for action.

One of the best moments of the night? Sarah’s dad surprised them with a live saxophone player during their grand entrance. Curtis from the Bluewater Kings Band led them through the crowd and straight to the dance floor—it felt like a spontaneous New Orleans-style parade, and it totally set the tone for the night.

Dinner from Purdue Memorial Union Catering was both delicious and beautifully served. And once the Bluewater Kings Band hit the stage, the dance floor stayed full all night.

It was the kind of wedding where everyone smiled a little bigger, danced a little longer, and left feeling the love.
